The former mainly uses the impact force generated by man-made machines, or greater pressure, to change the shape of stainless steel metal materials between the two anvil blocks, so that the required parts can be obtained. The latter is mainly through the open and closed forging methods to make some stainless steel materials squeeze greatly in a certain die, and then change their shape.

Stainless steel forgings can also be divided into three categories according to the effect of temperature, of which the most common is hot forging and cold forging, and the middle is warm forging. These methods can be selected according to the different requirements of relevant industries, and sometimes they may be combined in two ways, so as to play a more accurate role, so that stainless steel materials can change various shapes according to certain specifications and standards. As long as they can be further improved, these methods can be used for forging.

Good mechanical polishing and leveling, bright, high labor intensity, serious pollution, difficult to process complex parts, reduced gloss, high investment and cost, medium and small products, complex parts can not process the whole product, the gloss is not consistent, and the gloss is not maintained for a long time.

Chemical polishing has low investment, complex parts can be polished, high efficiency, fast speed, insufficient brightness, polishing liquid needs to be heated, there is gas overflow, complex products requiring ventilation equipment, and products with low brightness requirements can be processed in small batches, which is more cost-effective. Electrochemical polishing has the advantages of mirror luster, long-term maintenance, stable process, less pollution, low cost, good pollution prevention, large one-time investment, tooling and auxiliary electrodes for complex parts, cooling, high gear, medium and small products for mass production, and it is required to keep the mirror bright for a long time. The process of the products is stable, easy to operate, and can be widely used.

Mechanical parts are usually exposed to corrosive media such as atmosphere, steam and water, so the selection of stainless steel forgings can effectively resist the corrosion of air, water, acid, alkali salt or other media. After forging method, due to the deformation and recrystallization of stainless steel, the original coarse dendrite and columnar grain are fine, and the uniform axial recrystallization structure makes the ingot original racial segregation, porosity, porosity, slag compaction and welding, such as the metal with tighter microstructure, plasticity and mechanical properties.
